Tourism Destination from Bali Island.

There is one of the tourist destinations from Bali Island which is called Suluban Beach. It is a tourist destination in the village of Pecatu, Uluwatu, South Kuta, Bali. However among Australian tourists, the beach is better known by the name Blue Point Beach, cause foreigners do not know the name, so they call the hotel near it - Blue Point Villa. It has a steep cliff that conceals the beach, white sand, also great waves that are suitable for surfing. No wonder many people use the beach to surf and hang out.

There are several ways to get from Java or other starting point to Bali by airplane and ferry. We can reach the island by airplane from Jakarta, Jogja, and Semarang directly to Bali Island. From Denpasar, you can reach the beach in about 80 minutes. After your feet step on the beach, you will see the beautiful sea and white sand in there. Suluban's seawater consists of two colors, greenish and dark blue. The shallows are greenish and the seabed are visible, while the deepest sea is dark blue. Furthermore, there is the origin of the word Suluban, it comes from the Balinese word "Mesulub" which means to walk past something above a human's head. The reason is called Suluban Beach is because when we step our feet at the beach, we will meet two high cliffs. The cliff looks like an alley with stairs in the middle that we must pass to reach the beach.

For the entrance ticket, we need to pay IDR 20,000 and the parking fee (IDR 5,000 for motorbikes and IDR 15,000 for cars). For those of you who have a hobby of surfing, there are places to rent surf equipment with prices starting from IDR 50,000 - 100,000. And if you want to learn to surf, you can rent surfboards and trainers starting from IDR 200,000 - 300,000.

Blue Point Beach is located on the west, making this beach a suitable place to watch sunset and sunrise. And also a hole in a rock shaped like a cave makes this place very suitable for those of you who want to see the dusk. In addition to surfing and enjoying the sunset, we can enjoy the wave pool and swimming. Before enjoying the wave pool, we first need to pay attention to the wave height. The currents and waves that pass through the cave opening can be dangerous. If we want to swim, we must be careful and not recommend for children to swim. If we want to spend more time on vacation at Suluban Beach, there were also accommodations available near the beach. The first is Blue Point Villa and Spa, where this place is so famous that it became the nickname of the beach. Whereas other lodging near this location is Ayodhya Uluwatu. This place is located a little further from the beach and the beach view won't be seen compared to Blue Point Villa. However, the facilities offered by these two lodgings are the same.

Padang Padang Beach

Labuhan Sait Beach or Padang Padang Pecatu Beach is a beach located in the Pecatu region in the southwestern part of the island of Bali. Padang Padang Pecatu Beach is gaining popularity among local and international people. This beach was used as the place for the "Eat, Pray, Love" by Julia Roberts. The official name of this beach is Labuhan Sait, but among local and foreign tourists this beach is better known as the Padang Padang Beach. In addition, this beach has also been used for shooting music video clips for the band, Michael Learn To Rock, often abbreviated as MLTR.

Labuhan Beach was opened around 1985. The beach is often used for Melasti ceremonies or the purification of religious ceremonial equipment. Labuhan Sait Beach is never deserted from morning to evening. Thousands of people thronged the beach and the waves were well-liked by surfers. Every August there is a surfing sports competition for surf players, and many visitors visit this beach. Transportation to get to this beach is also easily accessible. The traveler who goes to this place from Ngurah Rai International Airport takes about 45 minutes of travel time. However, on Bali Island, there are two beaches that both use the name Padang. First, of course, is Padang Padang Beach, which is in South Bali. The second is Padang Bai Beach in East Bali.

To enter the area of the beach, we have to pass a temple surrounded by several wild monkeys. The temple to be passed was the main entrance until it found a sign "To The Beach". The parking lot is not far from the entrance. After we park the vehicle, we are required to pay the entrance ticket at the beach entrance gate. Parking fees for motorbikes are IDR 2,000 and IDR 5,000 for cars. The entrance ticket price includes around 15,000 IDR for each person for adults and IDR 10,000 for each person for kids (3 - 5 years old). After entering the parking area, we have to pass dozens of stairs that are narrower and smaller. The stairs are flanked by white rock cliffs that can be passed by two adults passing each other. After arriving at the beach, we will be treated to an extraordinarily beautiful view. The seawater of Padang Padang Beach contrasts with two colors, greenish and dark blue. For the shallows are greenish and the seabed is visible, while the deep parts are dark blue. Julia Roberts Beach is very suitable for surfing because the height of the waves can reach 5 meters. In March and August, the best time to surf is because the height of the waves can reach 7 meters. If the visitors are interested in surfing, we can rent a surfboard. Instructor services are also available if we want to learn the sport of surfing. The rental price for surfboards is around IDR 100,000 per board. This beach already has public toilet facilities for body rinsing or urination. There are several food stalls and restaurants too, so we do not need to be afraid to starve. The Gili Island, A Diamond from Indonesia

Gili Island, A Diamond from Indonesia is an archipelago of three small islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, northwest coast of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Trawangan Island has a population of around 800 people with indigenous Sasak people and the most densely populated. Several main harbors in Bali operate boats and ferries that can pick you up to Trawangan Island. Harbors in East Bali connect you to the Gili Islands, such as Padangbai Harbour, Sanur Harbour, Serangan Harbour, Benoa Harbour, and Amed Harbour.

Transportation Via Bali, the Padang Bai Harbor, Gili Trawangan can be reached by speed boat for about 2 hours. Crossing from Padang Bai using the Semaya One Cruise speed boat is spend cost Rp 500,000 for each person. The boat departs at 09.20 Wita and arrives at Gili Trawangan at 11:30 Wita. During the trip, the boat did not go directly to Gili Trawangan but stopped by picking up and dropping passengers off at Nara Bay and Gili Air which were very close to Gili Trawangan, and it is only about 10 minutes each stop. Tourism Activities: Popular activities for tourists on Gili Trawangan Beach are swimming, surfing, scuba diving (with PADI certification), snorkeling (on the northeast coast), and kayaking. There are also several places for tourists to surf and dive around the island. Or just want to swim or play water, Trawangan sea waves are not big and mild, so it is safe enough. The Sea is suitable for those of you who bring your baby and play water or sand with them. In addition, the sand of Trawangan Island is brightly white, so it can be its magnetism.

In Trawangan Island, we can only find unmotorized transportation such as cidemo and bicycles. The reason is they are not permitted by local regulations. Cidomo pulled by a horse can be ridden by a maximum of four passengers and a driver. It costs IDR 100,000 for one ride. Trawangan Island has more magnetism than the other beaches, the reason is that we can enjoy the sunset and sunrise at the same time on this beach. It happens cause the island has a beach facing east and facing west, and the distance is not too far away. So that we can enjoy both sunrise and sunset on Trawangan Beach. On the Island, we can also see traditional Sasak martial arts called presean or stick fighting. If we travel around the Gili Trawangan art market, then we should take our time to see this unique cultural performance. Peresean itself is a battle between two more men using rattan sticks as weapons and shields from thick buffalo skin / hard. Although it looks violent, but actually this show is actually based on sportsmanship. There are other activities offered by the island for us. There are so many choices of water sports that you can try on Gili Trawangan Beach, for example, surfing, swimming, banana boat, paddle board, jet sky, and so on. Also remember that water sports here are a bit more expensive, so we must provide a lot of money.
